eTRM Version 2 includes new features and additional functionality that qualified the eTRM to become the Data Source of Record for deemed measure values that are approved to be implemented in California programs.

eTRM v2 PROJECT SCOPE

The eTRM v2 project includes two phases of software development.

Phase 1 included software enhancements to meet the CPUC requirements for eTRM to be the “Data Source of Record” for deemed measure values. Phase 1 began in October 2020 and was released in early January 2021.

Phase 2 will include additional software enhancements to enable measure review and approval workflow, as well as other features identified by eTRM stakeholders. Phase 2 development will continue through 2022.

Download the Project Tracker to view the full enhancement list and learn which enhancements will be developed in each software development “sprint” through version 2.3. The Project Tracker will be updated after key planning and implementation phases to reflect the project progress. (Updated September 16, 2021)

The eTRM Transition and Launch Plan presents a strategy to transition the management and storage of deemed energy efficiency measure values and documentation from the current suite of tools and resources to the eTRM. This Plan will be updated as necessary to reflect shifts in the scope or schedule of the project.

The 2023 Enhancement Proposals presents all the enhancements that were submitted by eTRM users.
Please see survey to rank the 2023 Enhancement Proposals. 2024 enhancements are a continuation of the work started in 2023.
