CUSTOM RULEBOOK + WORKBOOK

The Custom Rulebook + Workbook is a TF-affirmed, collective effort to consolidate, simplify, clarify, and streamline information on the rules and guidance for custom projects. All sources referenced in the Custom Rulebook + Workbook are available in the Custom Reference Library.

  • The Custom Rulebook is a comprehensive, consolidated document designed to serve as the statewide source of record for rules and requirements for the development and review of custom measures and projects that use the custom-calculated approach. The Custom Rulebook is organized into chapters and appendices that provide guidance, relevant resources, and “rule tables” that list relevant rules.

  • The Custom Rulebook Workbook (CRW) is a workbook companion to the Custom Rulebook, containing:

    • The Rules Table is a consolidated list of all custom rules including the rule status, short name, type and source information. Use this table as a quick reference and/or to find detailed information and revision history for each rule.

    • The Rulebook Revision Log (RRL) logs proposed, pending, and confirmed rulebook updates, including interim updates that take effect between annual rulebook update cycles. Use this table to identify approved and pending Rulebook updates.

    • The Retirement List shows a list of past guidance and practice retired with the adoption of the Custom Rulebook, Version 1.0. Use this list to identify which past rules and practices no longer apply.

  • Page 1 shows the Rulebook Revision Log (RRL) - look here for any Interim Updates.

  • Page 2 shows the consolidated Rules List - use this to find rules and their sources

  • Page 3 shows the retired rules list

  • Page 4 shows the list of past/pending requests for the RRL. Any approved Interim Updates are on page 1.
