Mechanical Engineering Associate, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
Armen has seven years of professional energy efficiency experience and brings to the Technical Forum breath and depth of knowledge of both efficient building design and utility incentive program management. In his current role at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), he is responsible for performing conceptual and detailed design of varied building efficiency retrofit projects, including HVAC, lighting, and building automation systems using emerging technologies. He is also responsible for technical support and administration for several of LADWP’s ongoing incentive programs, including retrocomissioning, custom projects, the technical assistance program, new construction, the utility’s whole-portfolio EM&V and program re-development efforts.
Armen has Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering from California State University and is a licensed California Professional Engineer in both fields.
