Nicholas Fette has been tackling technical challenges in the intersection of sustainability and energy since 2011. At Lincus Energy and its subsidiary Solaris Technical, Nicholas has supported clients with technical services ranging from emerging technologies research to carbon management planning and corporate reporting. Nicholas has contributed to planning, tools, guidance, and reports used statewide in California’s regulated energy efficiency market relating to fuel substitution and refrigerants, building energy modeling, and zero net energy. Nicholas has developed numerous measure packages in support of deemed programs and promoted transparent and collaborative pathways to solve technical problems and inform policy discussions. Also at Lincus, he has supported development and review of M&V plans, NMEC analysis, and other meter-based analysis. Prior to joining Lincus, Nicholas worked in R&D on concentrating solar and sorption technologies and lead an industrial efficiency outreach program.

Nicholas is a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University, where he holds degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering, and is a certified measurement and verification professional.
