Steve Galanter manages Southern California Edison’s Energy Efficiency Division’s Demand Side Management Engineering group. His responsibilities include the development and management of engineering savings estimates for energy efficiency program operations, which includes SCE’s large C&I customized energy efficiency project reviews as well. Additionally, Steve is responsible for the management of SCE’s Codes and Standards program, Emerging Technology Program, and Ideas Management process for identification of future EE technologies. During Steve’s more than 30 years at Edison he has held the positions of Manager of Strategic Planning and Technical Support, Manager of Regulatory Planning, Manager of Technical Support, Manager of Technology Assessment and Application and Supervisor of Load Management Programs.
Steve has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Northridge and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
