Principal and Co-Founder, EcoVox, Inc.


Ryan has spent much of the last 10 years in the commercial and industrial sectors developing energy efficiency projects, implementing them, and tracking their performance over time.  His role at EcoVox is focused on deploying building energy information systems that interface with existing facility automation platforms, and then leveraging data analytics to drive continuous commissioning processes for their customers.  His ongoing monitoring experience brings insight to the savings opportunities and challenges in facilities spanning the commercial and industrial market segments such as health care, commercial offices, K-12/ higher education, food processing, and supermarkets.

Before EcoVox, he spent a number of years developing and implementing control retrofit projects in food processing and refrigerated facilities.  As a past Program Manager for a PG&E third-party incentive program, Ryan also has extensive experience in leveraging rebates and incentives from utility programs, modeling energy usage and savings using whole-building simulation, and implementing energy efficiency and demand reduction control strategies.  A member of AEE and ASHRAE, Ryan is a member of three Technical Committees.   Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
