Peter Miller

Senior Scientist, Natural Resources Defense Council

Peter is a highly respected expert in energy efficiency and climate change policy, with over 25 years of experience in the fields. His work is focused on California energy policy, AB32 implementation, and greenhouse gas emissions accounting and offsets. He is currently a board member of the Climate Action Reserve and has served on the California Board for Energy Efficiency and on both Independent Review Panels evaluating the Public Interest Energy Research program at the California Energy Commission. Peter is an active member of the Northwest Regional Technical Forum, the organization after which the California Technical Forum was modeled, and was instrumental in the creation of the latter.

Peter has a graduate degree in Policy Design from Dartmouth College and an undergraduate degree in physics from Reed College.
