Larry Brackney

Project Manager, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)

Larry has eight years of energy efficiency experience developing energy use and demand savings estimates as part of the Department of Energy's building energy analysis projects. Larry has more than twenty years of experience in engineering and various aspects of energy efficiency, including both building and transportation sectors.  He brings technical expertise in statistics, experimental design, codes and standards and energy modeling to the Cal TF.  Larry has supported collaboratives for a combined eight years with the Cal TF and the ACEEE Summery Study on Energy Efficiency.

Larry has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue. He has a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
