Josh Rasin manages the Building Decarbonization R&D team as part of the Energy, Strategy, Research & Development group at SMUD. In this role Josh is helping guide SMUD’s advancement with respect to energy efficiency, building electrification and load flexibility; and how the integration of these efforts can benefit both SMUD’s customers and grid operation. He has over a decade of experience as a project manager working on Utility Demand Response pilots, energy efficiency program evaluations, and developing California Title 24 building energy code requirements.
Josh has a B.A. in Environmental Economics from Binghamton University.
