General Manager, Office of Sustainability County of Los Angeles
Howard Choy has worked in the energy industry for over two decades, spanning careers in the utility industry, energy consulting, and local government. As General Manager of Los Angeles County’s Office of Sustainability, Howard is responsible for administering and implementing energy efficiency, green building, and climate change programs throughout the LA County. The programs impact residents, businesses, and the 88 municipal governments of the county and provide leadership on energy and climate change legislation and policy for the entire state.
Howard has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
