Doug brings 40 years of energy efficiency experience to the Forum. Throughout his decades of experience in the industry Doug has become an expert in energy efficiency program design, marketing, EM&V, energy code analysis and development, market assessment, and building science research. Some of his most recent projects involved benchmarking PG&E’s energy efficiency portfolio performance, creating a Zero Net Energy Buildings roadmap for the California utilities, supervising the development of a Codes & Standards potential study for the CPUC, and undertaking an analysis of saving estimate differences among portfolio administrators which examined the effects of residential interactive effects for the NRDC.
Doug has a Masters degree in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Art & Design, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
