President, National Association of Energy Services Companies
Donald ‘Don’ Gilligan has worked in the energy efficiency industry since 1975, as a consultant, entrepreneur, and state government official. He is currently the President of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), and organization of about 75 companies that deliver about $5 billion of energy efficiency and renewable projects annually. He is responsible for coordinating the organization’s state advocacy activities, and promoting energy efficiency and distributed generation in state legislative, regulatory, and policy forums. Don has authored and co-authored a number of reports on energy efficiency and the growth of the ESCO industry, which have been published by NAESCO and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Don is a graduate of Harvard University.
