Director of Distributed Energy Resources, Center for Sustainable Energy
As the Director of Distributed Energy Resources at the Center for Sustainable Energy, Beckie develops strategy and program design for delivering CSEs portfolio of distributed energy resource programs, including programs that promote storage, distributed generation, demand response, energy efficiency, and equity and workforce development. An experienced clean energy and sustainability professional, Beckie joins CSE after most recently working at MCE, California’s first community choice aggregator, where she developed and directed their portfolio of demand side management programs. Previously, Beckie held positions at both the California Energy Commission and California Public Utilities Commission, and she has experience in local government climate and energy programs.
Beckie has a Master of Science degree in Energy, Technology, and Policy from Humboldt State University.
